CONADE ACADEMY, THE DREAM … THE HOPE

Alfredo Castillo, head of the National Commission for Physical Culture and Sport (CONADE), presented a plan for ambitious projects which seeks to put Mexican sports on top level.
Popular sports commentator, David Faitelson, explained this project will place Mexico at a winning  level. CONADE Academy will seek out talent,  not only in athletes but also coaches, with everything they need to develop their full potential.
Alfredo Castillo, commented that each academy will have the support of experts in the  different disciplines including: baseball, boxing, mixed martial arts, volleyball, tennis, and basketball.
“Mexico is a country rich in all aspects, but especially in sports, I thank all companies, private initiative, federations and commissions who have joined this initiative.
“As head of CONADE I feel enthusiastic and extremely positive about  these Academies, because this project has a comprehensive plan that will address our deficiencies, because we Will not only give sports support, but also educational and psychological. A unique scheme that will travel throughout the country.”
CONADE and its Director, recognized that boxing is a sport that from its beginnings has given us true glories and legends. Nevertheless, on many occasions, there hasn’t been sufficient support for it to reach its goals, especially in the amateur field.
So CONADE is launching  “Academia Box”.
Former WBC World Champions were in attendance , among them: Jackie Nava, Mariana Juárez; former monarchs Jorge Arce and Erik Morales, Francisco Vargas, José Luis Bueno, Lupe Pintor, Carlos Zárate, Humberto Gonzalez and the Olympic medalist Misael Rorriguez.
World Boxing Council President Mauricio Sulaimán said  that the World Boxing Council applauds and supports this initiative one hundred percent, since programs like this are the hope of athletes who dream of sports glory.
