Three and a half years after calling T.J. Dillashaw a “snake”, Conor McGregor took another shot at the former UFC bantamweight champion.

Dillashaw announced on Wednesday that he had been notified of an “adverse” finding in most recent his post-fight drug test, following his loss to Henry Cejudo in January. DIllashaw has been suspended one year by the New York State Athletic Commission, while his process with USADA still goes on.

On social media, “The Notorious” posted a message referring to Dillashaw on Twitter.

”I called that little snake way back,” McGregor wrote. “I’m the new St. Patrick.”

Back in 2015, when McGregor and Dillashaw’s former teammate and mentor Urijah Faber coached a season of UFC’s reality show The Ultimate Fighter, the Irishman gave “The California Kid” a piece of “advice”.

”He is a twerp,” McGregor said of Dillashaw at the time. “You shouldn’t let him into your sh*t, because he is a snake in the grass and I told you that to your face. You brought him into TUF thinking he would help you. He was there to help him. He’s a snake in the grass and you need to figure that out.”

DIllashaw, who held the UFC bantamweight championship at the time, regained the gold with a knockout win over former Team Alpha Male partner Cody Garbrandt in 2017, finishing him a second time in 2018. He recently came up short in his attempt to become a two-division titleholder when losing by first-round knockout to Henry Cejudo at UFC Brooklyn on Jan. 19.
