Costa responds to ‘skinny clown’ Israel Adesanya following apology: ‘Glad you learned your lesson’

Despite their fight falling through last year, Paulo Costa and Israel Adesanya continue to go back-and-forth and trade insults on social media.

The latest round of barbs comes after ‘Borrachinha’ forced ‘The Last Stylebender’ to apologize for his comments about Yoel Romero crumbling like the twin towers in their upcoming middleweight title bout at UFC 248.

Costa responded by calling Adesanya a ‘skinny clown’ but is glad the reigning UFC middleweight champ learned his lesson and apologized.

“Glad you learned your lesson. Now shut your big mouth already. Respect the people and be ready to be erased. Skinny clown ,” Costa posted on Tuesday.

Costa is currently recovering from injury, while Adesanya is gearing up to defend his middleweight title against ‘Soldier of God’ at UFC 248. The pay-per-view extravaganza, which also features a co-headlining women’s strawweight title bout between Weili Zhang and Joanna Jedrzejczyk, will take place next month, March 7 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
