CRAWFORD COULD DEFEND WBC CROWN AGAINST FELIX DIAZ

World Boxing Council super lightweight champion Terence Crawford could be defendng the crown against Felix Diaz on May 20 in Newark, New Jersey.

The probable clash between Terence Crawford (30-0, 21 KOs) and Felix Diaz (19-1, 9 KOs) would be televised live on HBO.

According to the promoters of both fighters, they are close to reaching an agreement for the fight, but the contracts are not yet signed.

Gold medalist at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Felix Diaz has only lost one fight  in professional career, a twelve round majority decision with  Lamont Peterson.
