Undefeated World Boxing Council super lightweight champion Terence “Bud” Crawford and world ranked Félix Diaz collide at Madison Square Garden, Saturday evening, on a televised live show by HBO World Championship Boxing.
Crawford (30-0, 21 KO’s) of Omaha, Nebraska has won five of his last seven bouts by KO. Crawford, who is among the best pound-for-pound fighters of today, will be making the second defense of his WBC championship.
Diaz (19-1, 9 KO’s), from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, is an Olympic gold medalist in 2008. A natural super-lightweight, Diaz only has a single loss on his record against two-time champion Lamont Peterson.
