As reported by ESPN, the scheduled April 14 welterweight title fight between Terence Crawford and Jeff Horn is being pushed back after Crawford injured his right hand during a sparring session.
The injury is not serious, according to promoter Bob Arum, and the fight is being looked to be rescheduled on either May 19th or in early June, still in Las Vegas.
Crawford is entering this fight after unifying all major world titles at 140lbs, and coming right after the WBO welterweight title currently held by Horn. Crawford is obviously heavily favored in this fight and fans are generally looking towards him matching up with some of the other top dogs at 147, including the a potential fight with Errol Spence.
His opponent Horn is coming off his first successful title defense against Gary Corcoran in December after winning a disputed decision over Manny Pacquiao last summer in his home country of Australia.
