The December 22nd pay-per-view headlined by Dillian Whyte-Dereck Chisora II has added a world title fight to the lineup, as Surrey’s Charlie Edwards will challenge Nicaragua’s Cristofer Rosales for the latter’s WBC flyweight title.
Rosales (28-3, 19 KO), who sports a pair of losses to Kal Yafai and Andrew Selby, has had a breakout 2018, starting with his upset knockout of Daigo Higa in April. He went on to stop Paddy Barnes four months later, extending his record to 5-0 (4 KO) since the Selby loss last year.
Edwards (13-1, 6 KO) came up short in his first world title bid back in 2016, falling to Johnriel Casimero in 10. He was last seen stopping Anthony Nelson on June’s Lewis Ritson-Paul Hyland card.
In addition to this and the main event, the Sky Sports Box Office-hosted card will see Ryan Walsh defend his British featherweight title against former Commonwealth champ Reece Bellotti and David Price return to action in a six-rounder against Tom Little.
