WBC super flyweight world champion Carlos “El Principe” Cuadras, (35-0-1, 27 KOs) continued his busy media schedule on Monday as he winds down toward Saturday’s HBO showdown with WBC flyweight champion Roman “Chocolatito” Gonzalez, (45-0, 38 KOs) at the Fabulous Forum in Los Angeles. “This was my first time meeting Julio Cesar Chavez Sr., right away he wanted to give me pointers for Saturday night,” said Cuadras. “He throws multiple combinations but I’m too big and strong for him.”
“I like being a world champion,” stated Cuadras, “and I plan on staying that way on Saturday night. Doesn’t matter to me, knockout or decision, I will win.”
