Cuadras plots square route to championship

By WBCboxing.com

Former world champion Carlos “Prince” Cuadras has completed and accomplished the intense stage of his preparation for the fight this Saturday against Panamanian Ricardo” Mathematician” Nunez, at the Center for Multiple Use of Los Mochis.

Cuadras has undergone ten weeks trudging, jogging and sprinting the mountains surrounding Mexico said: “I am very happy to return to the ring. It  is one of the best preparations in my career and I am very happy to compete for the Latin title. I know  it will propel me to the top of the rankings. I was waiting for this opportunity and I’m going to show that Cuadras will be here for a long time.

“There are few fights of him to analyze. He`s a rival who goes forward throwing many punches. That style lends me to make a good fight and maybe I can win by knockout.  I`ve improved my defense a lot because I moved a lot and I did not hit hard. Now I’m better off, I have a few days left before  the fight and I’m very comfortable as bantamweight.  I was struggling to make  the super flyweight division.  I think I can also be champion as bantamweight.”

Cuadras stars in a production of Promociones del Pueblo in association with De León Promotions.
