Havana, May 27 (Prensa Latina) Cuba ratified its high quality in boxing after winning four gold medals at the Grand Prix held in Usti Nad Labem, in the Czech Republic, the website Jit reported today.
The titles went to Darieski Palmero, Jorge Moirán, Yainier Areu and Dainier Peró.
The website of the organizing committee reported that Palmero beat the local boxer Artur Szachbazian 4-0, while the light-welter fighter Moirán defeated Petr Novak, also from the Czech Republic, 5-0.
For his part, Areu won 4-0 over Rick Noojer, from the Netherlands, while the superheavyweight fighter Peró beat the Czech boxer Adam Kolarik 5-0.
