Daisuke TKOs Yosuke in 7th round

Featherweight Daisuke Watanabe of Tokyo scored a 7th round technical knockout over Yosuke Kawano of Kitamorokata-gun last Jan. 26 at the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan.

It was Daisuke’s 7th knockout in 12 wins against four losses and two draws while Yosuke got its 10th loss against 14 wins and two draws.

The 29-year-old Daisuke earlier had two wins in 2020 despite a pandemic caused by COVID-19.

He scored a unanimous decision over Richard Pumicpic of Zamboanga last Feb. 22 at Korakuen Hall. Daisuke then won over Shingo Kusano of Tokyo by a UD last Aug. 22 at Korakuen.

The promoter was Satoru Iwamoto of Yamaguchi Tsuchiura Promotions.
