Daniel Dubois extended the knock-out start to his heavyweight career to eight in succession.

By beating up traveller Tom Little he also picked up the heavyweight championship of England.

Dynamite Daniel’s next target is to become the youngest heavyweight ever to win the British title, now that the Board have exempted him from their exclusion of challengers under 21.

Dubois said: ‘It doesn’t matter to me whether I fight Hughie Fury or he vacates the belt to avoid me.’

Little took his punishment bravely, staggering to see his feet in the fourth round when decked by a vicious body shot, before referee Terry O’Connor called a halt in the fifth.

Dubois previously secured victories over DL Jones, Dorian Darch and AJ Carter.

The 21-year-old provided another indication of his vast potential with a confident display.
