Danny García in championship mode and mood

Danny “Swift” Garcia (34-1, 20 KOs) fights Shawn “Showtime” Porter (28-2-1, 17 KOs) for the vacant World Boxing Council welterweight title on Saturday, September 8, in an event presented by Premier Boxing Champions from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Danny held an open media training, showing that he is in superb  shape to face a difficult opponent.

“I am excited and motivated to regain the world title. The training camp has been very good.   I know that I am better than Porter and on September 8 I will prove it. I am faster, stronger and more skillful.  I’m going to take the title to home,” said Danny.

Danny Garcia (34-1, 20 KOs) is coming off a knockout victory over Brandon Rios in February, in the fight that marked his return to the ring after the loss against Keith Thurman.
