Orthodox Lito Dante of Bohol is the newest World Boxing Foundation International minimumweight champion.

The 32-year-old Dante won the title after he stopped in the 4th round Clyde Azarcon last August 7 at The Flash Grand Ballroom of the Elorde Sports Complex in Paranaque City.

Azarcon was downed three times in the 3rd round before he was totally upset in the 4th canto.

“I just hit him with my punches non-stop,” said Dante.

Dante posted his 11th knockout in 19 wins against 11 loses and 4 draws while the 27-year-old Azarcon suffered his 5th setback against 17 wins and one draw.
