On Tuesday, many criticized a brief video that Darren Till posted on his Instagram account of a sparring session he took part in ahead of his main event clash with Stephen Thompson at UFC Liverpool.
The first clip shows “The Gorilla” knocking down his sparring partner with a left hand. Later on, the footage shows the Team Kaobon welterweight land a swarm of hooks to the body and head of his sparring partner.
Some felt as though Till has been going too hard on his partner in the video, but on Wednesday, the Liverpudlian fired back at critics in another post, claiming that those who were condemning the footage “haven’t got a f*cking clue”.
Till posted the response along with a video that he had previously made public back in December where he can be seen on the receiving end of a powerful shot. He pointed it out that his sparring sessions are not always one-way traffic and refuted claims that he was “bullying” his training partner in the footage he posted on Tuesday.
