Panamanian Fernando De La Rosa and Colombian Darvin Galeano will fight for the World Boxing Association (WBA) Fedecaribe Lightweight title next Friday at La Doce Sports Center in Panama City.
The eight-round bout will bring two fighters, eager to grow and get better opportunities for the future, face to face.
The local 29-year-old has won three fights in a row to earn this opportunity to fight for the regional championship of the pioneer organization. De La Rosa defeated Venezuelan Jhorvis Pacheco in his most recent bout last February and comes into this fight with a good rhythm.
Galeano is a good fighter who is undefeated and will be fighting for the first time since December when he defeated Andres by a split decision.
De La Rosa has a record of 5 wins, 1 loss, 1 draw, and 3 KOs, while Galeano has knocked out six of the nine opponents he has defeated in his career.
