DEJAN ZLATICANIN RING RETURN

This evening, DIBELLA ENTERTAINMENT returns to the B.B. King Blues Club & Grill in Manhattan for the first time since March 2016, with the BROADWAY BOXING card  “Season’s Beatings” with  seven interesting matches including the return of former WBC lightweight champion, Montenegrin Dejan Zlaticanin.

In an eight-round lightweight battle, Wesley Ferrer  of Brooklyn (12-0, 7 KOs) will face undefeated Will Wood  (11-0, 5 KOs), of Albany, New York.

Ferrer, 25, will fight for the first time in  2017 after two sensational victories by knockout in 2016, against Luis Alberto Pelayo and Angel Figueroa. Hurshidbek Normatov of Brooklyn (4-0, 2 KOs) fights Puerto Rican Nicklaus Flaz (5-0, 4 KOs).

In a special eight round lightweight match, former WBC lightweight champion Dejan Zlaticanin (22-1, 15 KOs), from Podgorica, Montenegro, faces veteran Colombian veteran Heivinson Herrera (22-13-1, 16 KOs).

Unbeaten during eight years, tough Zlaticanin won the vacant world title with a third round knockout over Franklin Mamani on June 11, 2016. In his first defense, he lost the title to current champion Mikey Garcia.
