Dennis Bermudez will try to get back on track in the featherweight division this summer.
The Long Island resident will face Rick Glenn at UFC Boise on July 14 in Idaho, MMA Fighting confirmed Friday with UFC officials. Newsday was the first to report the news.
Bermudez (16-8), once near a title shot at 145 pounds, has lost three in a row. The Ultimate Fighter 14 alum is coming off a pair of split decision losses, the most recent against Andre Fili at UFC on FOX 27 in January. Bermudez, 31, has not won since a unanimous decision victory over Rony Jason in August 2016.
Glenn (20-5-1) had a two-fight winning streak snapped his last fight. The Roufusport product fell to Myles Jury by unanimous decision at UFC 219 in December. Glenn, 29, had won five of six going into that bout.
UFC Fight Night 133 will be headlined by a heavyweight bout between Junior dos Santos and former WSOF champ Blagoy Ivanov. Also on the card, Paul Felder takes on James Vick in a key lightweight affair.
