The Filipino Flash Nonito Donaire becomes the world’s oldest Bantamweight Champion as he dethrones French Oubaali with a 4th-round Knock out for the WBC World Bantamweight title at Carson, California.
The Boholano improved his record to 48 wins after stunning Oubali in the 3rd round and went on to finish the Fench in the 4th round.
Oubali defended the title twice, first to Filipino Arthur Villanueva and second to Takuma Inoue after winning the vacant belt against American Rau’shee Warren in 2019 before succumbing to his first-ever loss to Donaire.
