DOUBLE PORTION OF MEXICO VS. PANAMA… A LA CARTE

Former Mexican world champion Julio “Pollito” Ceja fights Panamanian Anselmo “Chemito” Moreno  on Saturday,  in an eliminatory super bantamweight clash at the Amador Convention Center in  Panama. City.

 

Ceja Pedraza, who is ranked No. 5 in the WBC rankings, will fight with Moreno, who held the bantamweight title for 4 years. The winner will be appreciably  closer to challenging  WBC super bantamweight champion, Rey Vargas.

 

“Pollito”, who was dethroned last year by Sinaloa’s   Hugo “Cuatito” Ruíz, has a record of 30 wins, 27 KO´s and 2 defeats. While Moreno record is also distinctive  (30-5-1, 12 KO’s).

 

Saul “Baby” Juarez (23-5-1, 12 KOs), will face Panamanian Leroy “Sensational” Estrada (15-2, 6 KOs)  in an eliminatory minimumweight clash to challenge  Thai Wangheng Menayothin, who defeated Baby last year by UD.

The card will transmitted to all Mexico via Televisa.
