The Dubai Ayuda Boys send their help to rescue the family of the late Jerry Quinones, who was killed due to electrocution last week in Magsaysay, Davao del Sur.
The group, who send almost P8,000 cash, was composed of Romulo Mendoza Jr., Jun Paderna, Jojo Torres, Edwin Aliong, Marcelo Ayala, Dubai Ayuda Team and promoter Brico Santig of Highland Boxing Promotion.
Quinones, 47, is a former Philippine super featherweight champion from Davao City. He is survived by his wife Mary Joy and children Jericho and Angel.
Quinones retired with a record of 19 wins against four loses and one draw with 16 knockouts. In his last fight, Quinones lost to Joel Gonzales by a 1st round technical knockout last June 25, 1999 in Sorsogon City.
