DAVAO CITY – The Dubai boxing and MMA community will again donate “Ayuda” for the Philippine professional boxers and trainers soon.
“We were able to collect P30,500 to donate ayuda”, said spokeman Jun Paderna.
Aside from Paderna, the donation also came from Ricky Sismundo, Jay Musa. Edwin Aliong, Randy Navarro, Jojo Torres, Paul Watson, Erwin Neri, Alan Piodena, Romulo Balbontin, Tony Jaro, Jonrey Villar, May Pagdato, Norbz Taño, Domar Saguipil, Marcelo Ayala, Juniefer Narciza Tanding, Venice Dangley, Robert Etorma, Jay Caburobias, Randy Delapeña, Nick Abas and promoter-manager-match maker Brico Santig.
“We are also planning to give money to boxer Lee Escobido, who suffered a stroke,” said Paderna.
Cebu City is the target this time for Ayuda.
Among those who will receive ‘Ayuda’ are the boxers and trainers of Villamor Brothers Gym, Brix Flores Team, ZIP-Sanman, ARQ, Yellow Gym, Bacus Gym, Ucon Boxing, Lilian Boxing Gym, and 1000 BC.
“It might be given on Aug. 21 at Villamor Boxing Gym,” said Paderna.
