Brit Gavin McDonell, who is undefeated, will be the opponent of Mexican Rey Vargas on February 25 in Hull, England; with the WBC super bantamweight title on the line.
McDonell has 16 undefeated fights. While Vargas is also undefeated on 28 bouts.
This thriller between the top two ranked fighters in the division will take place at the Ice arena of Hull in Yorkshire, England.
They will be fighting for the title vacated by Japan’s Hasegawa, who decided to hang Up his gloves.
