The exciting Davao Ultimate Knockout Challenge (DUKC) will start at the Elorde Davao Gym on August 14 at 2 p.m. featuring 10 bouts.
This was announced by Alfie Angelo Jonsay, owner of Elorde Davao Gym.
“We want to promote the amateur boxers in and around Davao City,” said Jonsay.
Tournament director is Rodel Garde, a licensed referee of the Games and Amusement Board.
“But the tournament is for the amateur boxers only,” said Jonsay.
“To all fighters and coaches, all bouts, except the main event and special bout, will be three rounds, two minutes per round and one minute per rest,” said Jonsay.
The main event featured Mohammad Tamaru of Elorde Davao Gym against Charles Plaza of Full Impact Training Fitness Gym from Tandag City.
The co-main event pits Handani Ali of Blackhawk Gym from Davao against Stevie Reggie Reyes of MP Gym from Toril.
“They will have three rounds, three minutes per round and one minute per rest,” said Jonsay.
Elorde Gym is the first and only Elorde franchise in Davao and Mindanao.
