Former world title challenger Thomas Dulorme (23-2, 15 KOs) returned with a win on Saturday night at the Pabellón de la Feria in Albacete, Spain. Dulorme scored a three round TKO over Jesus “Pantera” Gurrola (22-9-3, 10 KOs) in a scheduled eight round welterweight division bout. It was Dulorme’s first fight since a stoppage loss to Terence Crawford in a world title fight 14 months ago.
“Fighting for the first time in Spain was something big in my career because I felt at home with the love and respect they gave me,” said Dulorme, who worked with trainer Alberto González at the Club de Boxeo Daya Nueva in Alicante in preparation for the fight.
On his future, Dulorme said, “I’m a free agent and want to meet with several promoters. I know good fights will soon come, I’ll be more than ready to take them and come away with the win!”
