The World Boxing Council fly champion, British Charlie Edwards, will defend his crown on Saturday, August 31 against Mexican Julio César Martínez (14-1-0, 11 Ko’s) at the O2 Arena in London, in the fight backing of the billboard leading the battle between the Ukrainian Vasiliy Lomachenko and the local Luke Campbell.
Edwards (15-1-0, 12 Ko’s), who is motivated to make the second defense of the green and gold belt, is already preparing for this important commitment.
Charlie comes from defeating the Spanish Angel Moreno, by broad unanimous decision, in which he was the first defense of his world title.
