Antonio Moran justified the odds, becoming the new WBC Latino Silver champion, after defeating Juan Pablo “Lagarto” Sanchez by UD.
After 10 rounds, the Judges scored it for Moran: 96-94, 97-93 and 98-92. He`d utilized his longer reach to dominate a more experienced opponent.
“Lagarto” who admirably tried his utmost to spring a surprise, never ever stopped throwing punches, while on the other hand, Moran was more accurate, with those he threw.
After the first 4 rounds, two judges had Moran up with 39-37, while one of them saw the work in progress as a draw (38-38).
“Lagarto” (30-12, 14 KOs) tried in vain to hurt his rival, but Antonio (20-1, 13 KOs) was able to keep him at bay.
