Juan Francisco Estrada is clamoring for a rematch against  rugged WBC Champion Srisaket Sor Rungvisai, following his convincing UD victory over tough, brave and intrepid paisano Felipe Orucuta.

Chapter three of “Superfly”  presented by Tom Loeffler`s 360 Promotions at the Inglewood Forum, lived up to and exceeded expectations.

The result saw Estrada as the clear winner with scores of 118-110 and 117-111 twice, but it was a lot physically tougher than the math suggested.  Lanky Orucuta came to fight and was in fantastic shape. Just was well because although he was able to pull his head back from the incoming punches on some occasions, he often got caught by crisp, stinging right hands to the face and jaw, withstanding everything.

Ever growing in confidence, after a somewhat ponderous and cautious start, In the sixth Orucuta launched a blistering two handed attack, but at the self same time he was getting tagged with some jarring counterpunching.   In the eighth both went to war, thrilling the appreciative crowd. Estrada upped the pressure in the eleventh with a huge left hook to the head, followed up by a sustained attack, with Orucuta bravely replying with a smarting right hook.  In the twelfth and final round Estrada wobbled Orucuta with a right to the head and seconds before the bell Orucuta slipped and a glove touched the canvass.

“It was good to compete against a great champion, I thought the scores were much closer,” mused Orucuta.

“The atmosphere was great. Every time two Mexicans meet in the ring you will have a fabulous  fight,” quipped  Estrada.

With this impressive result, he takes one big step towards again fighting and pitting his skills against current WBC super flyweight champion, Srisaket Sor Rungvisai.

As part of the same spectacular Puerto Rican McWilliams Arroyó fought  the Japanese, Kazuto Ioka, who decided to leave his retirement behind to prove chance his arm in  the super flyweight division, after having conquered the minimumweight, light flyweight and flyweight divisions.

The Japanese warrior surprised the Puerto Rican,  seizing the WBC silver super flyweight belt, at the same time as he was consecrated as a new powerful and dangerous rival in the division.
