Eubank vs Yildirim, Crolla vs Burns, more: Boxing fight times and TV schedule for October 6-7

RingTV.com / Estrella TV, 9:15 pm ET, Boxeo Estelar. Main card starts at 10 pm ET. The show will feature Christian Gonzalez, Edgar Valerio, Ferdinand Kerobyan, and Jousce Gonzalez in action, all currently slated to face TBA.

Saturday, October 7

WorldBoxingSuperSeries.com / Audience / ITV Box Office (UK) / Super Channel (CAN), 1:45 pm ET, Chris Eubank Jr vs Avni Yildirim. The listed start time is what ITV Box Office has for going live on the Sky guide. Main event likely will come around 5 pm ET, or at least that’s the guess right now. Not sure if the live stream on the official site will work in the U.S. this week, which if not, is dumb considering how limited the reach of the Audience channel is here. Anyway, I think this is an interesting fight. BLH will have live coverage.

Sky Sports Action (UK), 2:00 pm ET, Anthony Crolla vs Ricky Burns, Sam Eggington vs Mohamed Mimoune, Robbie Barrett vs Lewis Ditson. Crolla-Burns is a must-win for both fighters. Crolla is coming off of back-to-back losses to Jorge Linares, and Burns is coming off of a loss to Julius Indongo, plus he’s moving back down to 135 for the first time since November 2015. BLH will have live coverage.

Channel 5 (UK), 4:30 pm ET, Andrew Selby vs Maximino Flores, Robin Dupre vs Luke Watkins. Selby takes an OK next step here in his 10th pro fight. Nothing special, a showcase for him if all goes well, but also a WBC flyweight eliminator. Dupre-Watkins is for the Commonwealth cruiserweight championship.

beIN Sports en Español, 11:00 pm ET, Tomas Rojas vs Edivaldo Ortega, Jorge Paez Jr vs Jose Carlos Paz.

Televisa (MEX), 11:00 pm ET, Cristian Mijares vs Jesus Arevalo, Joseph Aguirre vs Juan Jose Martinez. Mijares is still banging around at 35, now in the featherweight division, and his last couple of fights have actually been at 130, big weights for a former super flyweight titleholder.
