EVA VOWS TO PUNISH MAYRA MISTAKES

Eva Wahlström  defends her  WBC super-featherweight crown against experienced Mayra Alejandra Gomez from Argentina, on Saturday in Turku, Finland.

Gómez’s record includes 18 wins and 5 losses with 4 KO´s. She is ranked  # 2  in the WBC Women’s Featherweight division. Gómez has faced good fighters, including Carolina Raquel Duer and Jackie Nava. Wahlström sees Gomez as a dangeorus opponent, but she is determined to keep  the world title in Finland.

“Gómez is an experienced and determined fighter, but she makes many mistakes, “ declares Wahlström.

At the same event Edis Tatli (29-1) defends his EBU lightweight title against Francesco Patera (17-2) while  super middleweight contender Niklas Räsänen (13-1) faces the experienced Ricardo Marcelo Ramallo (22- 11-1).
