Three-class champ Kazuto Ioka (22-1, 13 KOs), 29, Japan, recently announced his retirement from ring warfare on New Year’s Eve last, but appeared in a press conference to declare his comeback in the US on Friday in Tokyo, Japan.

Ioka, former WBC/WBA 105lb/WBA 108lb/IBF 112lb titleholder, will participate in the Super Fly 3 event in Los Angeles on September 8. Despite his then regrettable farewell to the ring Ioka’s comeback had been greatly expected here. Kazuto, an excellent boxer-puncher, is hoped to regain his top form and display his real power in the US, overcoming a sixteen-month hiatus. Good luck.
