20-year-old Fabiana Bytyqi is defending her WBC Youth World Minimumweight Championship on Saturday night against tough and competitive Bulgarian Teodora Bacheva.
Bytyqi won the title in March via a very close and controversial decision over Bacheva and sportingly immediately offered a rematch, which will be the main event of a big show in Fabiana’s home town Usti nad Labem, Czech Republic.
Both fighters had no problem making weight. While the Champ weighed in at 47.25 kg (104 lbs.), the shorter Bacheva brought only 46.25 kg (102 lbs.) to the scale.
The event is promoted by Ulf Steinforth’s SES Boxing in association with Qwert Promotion. It’ll be broadcast live on the biggest Czech network TV Nova.
