Faris Chevalier defeated WBA # 3 Light Heavyweight Blake Caparello on points 97-93 with all 3 judges to win the WBA Light Heavyweight Oceania title!

Faris is the most avoided boxer in Australia it was a credit to Blake Caparello to fight and put his title on the line, it was a technical fight and all three (3) judges scored the fight to Faris Chevalier 97-93 to crown Chevalier the new WBA Oceania champion.

“The win now will put Faris in the top 5 in the world light heavyweight rankings we will be looking for a big international fight overseas now,” said manager Peter Maniatis.
