Fasten Your Belt! WBC fight fiesta finale in November

We are close to saying  goodbye to 2018, which has been a year crammed full of boxing activity, however, we still have a little time left to enjoy some just desserts.

November 3: Miguel Berchelt vs. Mickey Roman / Texas

With bated breath, El Paso Texas awaits one of the  greatest fights of the year. WBC super featherweight champion Miguel “Alacran” Berchelt who will be facing  number one challenger Mickey Román, who`s from this neck of the woods.

Both fighters have declared that they`re going to war!  Mickey is fully aware that time  is pressing and that this is his last opportunity to take the championship home. While Miguel is steadfastly determined to consolidate  his status and position.

November 3: Josh Taylor vs. Ryan Martin / Scotland

WBC silver super lightweight champion Josh Taylor is good and ready to defend his crown by remaining undefeated.  However, the task will not be easy, as Ryan Martin is a dangerous fighter who`s also unbeaten. He  reaches this commitment with 22 wins, 12 of them by KO. It`ll  happen at The SSE Hydro, in bonny Scotland

November 10: Oleksandr Usyk vs. Tony Bellew / United Kingdom

WBC cruiserweight champion, Oleksandr Usyk, declares himself ready to blast out Scouser Tony “Bomber” Bellew  in a fight that will take place at the Manchester Arena in Manchester, United Kingdom. It has all the trappings of a classic.

However, despite knowing that he does not arrive as the favorite, Tony says he doesn`t care a “Toffee” about the odes, ides or odds, and that and sweet victory will indeed be his!

November 10: Ewa Piatkowska vs. Ornella Domini / Poland

November will be a month where women boxers will be in the thick of the action, starting with the WBC super welterweight champion, Ewa Piatkowska, who will make the second defense of her crown against Swiss Ornella Domini who comes to this match with 13 wins and one defeat.

November 12: Abigail Medina vs. Tomoki Kameda / Japan

Japan against Spain, Tomoki Kameda and Abigail Medina face to face for the WBC interim super bantamweight title clash which  is expected to be a thriller at the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo. It`s the  first time a world boxing championship in Japan will be broadcast exclusively live over the internet through the Abema TV platform.

Kameda is convinced he`ll  win the match not only because of the excellent preparation, but also because he owes it to his adoring public. But Medina is sailing in with an unbeaten streak of 10 consecutive fights.

November 18: Claressa Shields vs. Hannah Rankin / New Jersey, USA

Superstar Claressa Shields will seek to become the WBC middleweight world champion by facing Scottish Hannah Rankin at the Kansas Star Arena and Casino in Mulvane, Kansas

Shields was scheduled to face the division world champion Christina Hammer. However, the fight was postponed after Hammer was named champion in recess as she is recovering  from some health problems.

For now, this fight is postponed and the name on the list is Rankin who despite recognizing the quality of her rival vows  to offer up a great show.
