Ferdinandus to fight for regional title on January 24th!

Earlier this month H Welly Koto, of HWR Promotions, held a press conference to announce a show for January 24th in Bandung, Indonesia.

The press conference saw the promoter reveal that he was paying 30% of his fighters’ purses in advance and that the card would feature fighters from not only Indonesia, but also Thailand and Russia.

It was also at the press conference that the main event was revealed as being a bout between Stevie Ongen Ferdinandus (27-17-1, 14) and Yodkhunpol Nakornluang (20-4, 11), aka Uthit Punsen, with the two men fighting for the WBC Asian Boxing Council Silver Super Welterweight title.

Sadly we’re unsure what, if any, TV this show will be getting, though our understanding is that the show will, overall, be a strong one.
