Naoya “Monster” Inoue of Japan with a record of 17-0 win-loss with 15 KOs is the Fighter of the Year.
The 25 yr. old retained his World Boxing Association (WBA) World bantamweight title by knocking out Juan Carlos Payano of Dominican Republic in the 1st round last Oct. 7, 2018.
It was the first title defense of the crown he won against Jamie McDonnell of United Kingdom via a TKO last May 25.
Inoue is also a former WBC super flyweight for eight times and also became a WBC world light flyweight champion. He is also a former OPBF light flyweight champion.
Inoue also won the Knockout of the Year.
