Dubai’s very own Rolly Lambert Fogoum will try to extend his eight-win streak when he faces Tanzania’s Mada Maugo on June 5 at the Hilton, Al Harbor City.
The 32-year old Cameroon Native whose only loss came in February of 2019 in a Unanimous Decision against Russian Viskhan Murzabekov for the Russia Light Title is scheduled to go toe to toe against 3-year older and veteran Maugo. Tarime, Tanzania’s son Maugo had been on the prowl for action since his Split Draw fight in Tanzania a year ago. Before that, he came in from a three-loose streak with two knock-outs and a disqualification.
The two will vie for the World Boxing Organization Cruiserweight Title Saturday night.
India’s rising pro-boxer Faizan Anwar is seeking to continue his undefeated career as he mettle it out against a fellow undefeated American warrior Norman Neely. Experts say Neely’s impressive 7-win knockouts undermine Anwar’s 4 knockouts and two unanimous decision wins.
Also in the undercard is Filipino protégé Kurvin John Natuplag of the Philippines is looking for redemption when he faces undefeated Afghan Hasibullah Ahmadi in the 126 lbs Division. Ahmadi’s power is on the table as he pursues another win this year after a 7th round TKO win in April this year as Filipino Natuplag is on the hunt for a win after a two-loss fight in 2019.
Opening the pro-fights will be Americans Ian Green and Montana Love who are both looking to take the win home to their native Paterson New Jersey and Cleveland, Ohio respectively. 27-year old Green hopes for his career’s 14th win while Love’s 14 win reign is on the line for either a 15th or his first loss.
The event is catered by the Dubai-based DJMC Events.
