On June 3 in Montreal, Canada, Andrzej Fonfara (29-4, 17 KO’s) fights a highly anticipated rematch against World Boxing Council light heavy weight champion Adonis “Superman” Stevenson, almost three years after a war, which he lost by decision.
“I am happy to be able to fight him again. This time I will be a better fighter, and I`m in excellent condition. I`ve gained experience and I`m a better quality boxer. I have lost, but that’s how boxing is.
“I had a great fight against Dawson and against Stevenson. Dawson is much harder to hit. Defensively he`s excellent. Stevenson is much more vulnerable when he goes back. There is time and space in which to hit him hard. He has not changed his tactics in the ring. I’m sure this time Stevenson will not stand my fight pace. On June 3 there will be a new WBC champion, ” Fonfara commented.
