It was Cristian Mijares himself, who made the declaration that he’ll again fight another former world champion, Tomas “Gusano” Rojas…. and almost certainly in Veracruz.
Mijares said he’s very keento fight against Rojas as he defeated him in 2004 for the national championship in twelve rounds in Gómez Palacio, Durango.
Cristian has a professional record of 55-8-2, and 26 KO’s. He debuted as a pro in 1997.
The “Worm” has a record of 48-14-1, and 32 knockouts. In 2001 he was national champion. In 2010 he was crowned as WBC world champion after his victory over Kohei Kono.
