Pinklon Thomas also known as “Pinky”, is an American former professional boxer with 51 Bouts(43 Wins, 7 Loss, 1 Draw, 34 KOs). He competed from 1978 to 1993 and held the WBC heavyweight title from 1984 to 1986, and was the first IBO heavyweight champion, holding the title from 1992 to 1993. He is also one of the best left jabs in boxing.
In this interview, he relived the moment when he won the WBC World Heavyweight champion against Tim Witherspoon; his first defense against Mike Weaver; his feelings about losing the title in a close fight against Trevor Berbick; his biggest fight against Mike Tyson and what happened in the fight and as a person; his fight against Evander Holyfield; he also talked about Tommy Morrison.
He also talked about his legendary trainor Angelo Dundee, and what he learned from him and his being inducted into the National Boxing Hall of Fame in California.
