Joshua Franco and Andrew Moloney will meet this Saturday in a rematch for the World Boxing Association (WBA) Super Flyweight title, held by the former. The bout will take place at The Bubble, in the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, and will be one of the most interesting fights of the night.

Franco and Moloney fought in July in what was the first World Title fight after the pause due to the pandemic. It was a fight with good action that left the fans satisfied, so it deserves a second one.

On that occasion, the San Antonio native had a great performance and dethroned the Australian thanks to his great jab and distance work that limited Moloney’s courageous style and pressure. The judges’ cards were 114-113, 114-113, and 115-112.

Franco has gained a lot of confidence and has started to dream among the best 115-pound boxers since he got the belt of the oldest boxing organization. However, the hard-fought bout in July gave Moloney the right of a rematch, who claims to have corrected many aspects and to be ready “to get his belt back,” as he has expressed on his social media.

Another fight of strategy, good boxing, and a lot of action is expected from both warriors. Franco has 17 wins, 1 loss, 2 draws, and 8 KOs. For his part, Moloney arrives with a record of 21 wins, 1 loss, and 14 KOs.
