Frankie Edgar vs. Chad Mendes full fight video

At The Ultimate Fighter 22 Finale back on Dec. 11, 2015, former UFC lightweight champ Frankie Edgar took on long-time UFC featherweight contender Chad Mendes in the main event of the card. That night in Las Vegas, Edgar knocked out Mendes to earn a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus.

Now, over three years later, Edgar will take on young contender Brian Ortega in the co-main event of UFC 222. The event is set to take place on Saturday at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. UFC women’s featherweight champ Cris Cyborg is scheduled to defend her title against newcomer Yana Kunitskaya in the main event.
