Hot heavyweight prospect Jermaine Franklin (17-0, 13 KOs) looked comfortable and in control, as he easily defeated Craig Lewis (14-3-1, 8 KOs) in the main event at the Motor City Casino SoundBoard in Detroit, Friday night.
Franklin used speed and angles to overcome a worthy heavyweight challenge. Lewis, who looked the best he has in awhile, could not keep up with Franklin’s raw skill. The UD win (98-92, 98-92, 99-91) was a testament to the potential of Franklin being a heavyweight contender down the road.
