Hello @ufc middleweights. My name is Deron Winn.

Happy to announce I just signed with the big leagues!3,3333:13 AM – Dec 21, 2018571 people are talking about thisTwitter Ads info and privacy

In his most recent outing, Winn earned a dominant decision over former UFC veteran Tom Lawlorin the co-main event of Golden Boy Promotion’s inaugural mixed martial arts event in November. This not only kept his perfect record intact, but also marked his first bout to reach the judge’s scorecard.

The American Kickboxing Academy product previously earned four straight stoppages in various promotions, including a first-round TKO win over Ahmed White at Bellator 199.

Prior to this performance, Winn had told MMAFighting he was struggling to find fights on the regional scene.

“A guy like me, with my wrestling credentials, at first I was just getting opponents off ‘Oh maybe he just only knows how to wrestle and he can’t fight yet,’” said Winn. “But I’m 4-0 with four first-round finishes. So, now it’s even harder for me to get fights. The last guy I fought, I knocked out on the feet. Now they’re scared of multiple things.”

There is currently no word on when Winn will make his promotional debut.
