FROILAN SALUDAR LOSES IN JAPAN

In a battle of former champs, Filipino Froilan “The Sniper” Saludar (32-6-1, 22 KO’s) of Cagayan de Oro lost via split decision to Japanese KO artist Daigo Higa (18-2-1, 17 KO’s) Wednesday night (July 13) at the Ota-City Gym in Tokyo, Japan live on TBS.

The 8-rounder showdown was the co-feature for the Ioka vs Nietes main event unfolding now in Japan.
