NEWLY-APPOINTED Games and Amusements Board (GAB) Chairman Abraham Khalil “Baham” Mitra will be gracing “The Road to Glory” boxing promotion on August 13, Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Makati Square Fitness Arena in Makati City.

“Yes, he has confirmed his attendance for his first public appearance in boxing,” said GAB Boxing Chief Dr. Nasser Cruz.

Mitra, a former Palawan Governor, succeeded former GAB Chairman Juan Ramon Guanzon of Bacolod City, who is still the president of the Oriental and Pacific Boxing Federation (OPBF).

Promoter Brico Santig of the Highland-Naris International Boxing Promotion said that international promoter-manager Naris Singwancha of Thailand is also coming to watch the free to the public boxing show.
