Former world champion Juan Francisco “Gallo” Estrada (36-2, 25 KOs) is training in Hermosillo, Sonora, for the most testing and anticipated fight of his career, against formidable World Boxing Council super flyweight champion Srisaket Sor Rungvisai (43- 4-1, 39 KOs).
Estrada has been training since December intensifying the work sessions gradually, expertly and astutely guided by his coach Alfredo Caballero.
“We are going through a great preparation with enthusiasm and a lots of motivation for this so important fight. I’m fully and absolutely aware of what it means to defeat Sor Rungvisai and I will! I’ll impose my style, my intelligence and my Mexican pride,” pledges Estrada, who earned his challenge by defeating Carlos Cuadras on September 9th.
The fight will be held on February 24 at the Forum in Inglewood, California. It promises to be a memorable classic.
