GANIGAN LOPEZ INJURED

Due to a calf muscle injury,  the WBC light flyweight world champion, Ganigan “Maravilla” López, will not be available to defend his belt against Pedro Guevara against October 15.

Southpaw  former contender, Jerry Tomogdan, steps into the breach, to be Pedro´s rival at the Multiple Uses Center of Maztlan. The card will be presented by Promociones del Pueblo, in association with De Leon Promotions.

Guevara, who is ranked 1 in the WBC rankings, will be facing a former title contender who is a dangerous fighter and a determined competitor.

Tomogdan contested the WBC mininimuweight belt last year in Thailand. He stands as a tough and exacting test for the former world champion.
