Gary Russell Jr. (27-1, 16 KOs) will be making the third defense of his WBC Featherweight crown on Feb. 18th.
The talented southpaw fights Interim champion Oscar Escandon,, at the Bank Arena in Ohio.
At the recent World Boxing Council Convention, Russell said: “I hope to defeat Escandon without any problems. I plan to unify all the titles later and I want to do it soon.”
The only defeat in the career of Russell Jr was by majority decision against Vasyl Lomachenko in 2014. Gary also commented that expects to materialize a rematch.
