Gegard Mousasi’s big win over Vitor Belfort clearly earned him some juice with linemakers. Mousasi will rematch Uriah Hall in the main event of UFC Fight Night 99, replacing a scratched matchup between Dong Hyun Kim and Gunnar Nelson. Hall memorably beat Mousasi by TKO in their first fight, but it doesn’t look like that matters to the bookies. Check out this line for the rematch:
For those new to BestFightOdds, they take the lines from many sports books and offer the best on each side in the handy chart above. If you’d like to see what each book is offering individually, you can do that over at their site.
Three sites have lines up so far, and Mousasi is as high as -500 on one. This is pretty similar to the first fight, which took place at UFC Fight Night 75 in September 2015 – you could have got Hall at +435 before that bout. Mousasi dominated the first round of that fight, but got caught with a spinning back kick and finished by TKO for the first time in his career.
Since then, Mousasi has gone 3-0 with two finishes, including an emphatic win over Belfort atUFC 204. Hall has lost two in a row, most recently getting stopped by Derek Brunson inside two minutes last month in Texas.
UFC Fight Night 99 goes down in Belfast on November 19th.
